WonderWhat meets Tellmi

Transforming Career and Mental Health Outcomes for Young People

Tellmi and Creative Careers web app WonderWhat are excited to announce a new partnership to support young people as they consider a creative career.

WonderWhat is built for ages 13+ and spans 17 areas of the Creative Industries. It’s been designed to support young people at a time in their life when they are first choosing study paths, and plotting routes to their future.

Wonder and Tellmi partnership

At a time when creative subjects are more squeezed than ever, we know this can be a stressful time for young people and their carers who are looking for accurate guidance and support.

Tellmi is a peer support app, which transforms mental health outcomes for young people. It gives them the tools to help themselves and each other. The pre-moderated, anonymous peer support allows young people to talk about absolutely anything. From anxiety to autism, dating to depression, or self-harm to self-esteem.

Emma French, Tellmi Growth Marketing Manager said:

“We know from conversations in the Tellmi App that it isn't always the easiest decision to follow your heart to your dream career.

We are delighted to partner with WonderWhat and to offer support to young individuals who are uncertain or facing difficulties in choosing career paths in creative industries via the Tellmi App.

Whatever barriers young people may face, the Tellmi community is on hand to offer relatable and comforting support, always anonymous and safe.”

Lizzy Maries, WonderWhat Head of Partnerships and Brand said:

“WonderWhat was designed for ages 13+, the point when young people first choose a study route.

It’s the first time they openly cast a vote for the type of career they might want - and in doing so - they make that choice known to their family and networks. It can be a strange and difficult time without the right career information and support.

Tellmi is an ideal partner because the app allows people to safely connect with people the same age as them - and have anonymous, supportive discussions on these issues - in community. No huge waiting lists, no judgment - and crucially, anonymity.”
